Lima Memorial's Fundraiser to raise $2.1 Million for a dedicated Inpatient Renal Dialysis Treatment Center.
Project Illuminate is designed to shine a light on the critical need to establish a dedicated Inpatient Renal Dialysis Treatment Center within our community. During the launch of this project, patients and caregivers shared their journeys through kidney disease and dialysis. Their stories represent the many inspiring messages contained within an artistic display of illuminated bottles on the waters of the Lima Memorial Medical Park. Project Illuminate symbolizes our community coming together to bring life-preserving care to
critically ill patients.
After the art display's completion each bottle was retrieved, cleaned and custom labeled. It became a gift to donors to display in their offices. The solar powered LED "message in a bottle" held a letter from a renal patient.
